Philippine towage firm Harbor Star returns to profit in Q2 2026

Philippine towage operator Harbor Star Shipping Services has published its financial results for the three months ended June 30, 2026.

Harbor Star posted gross revenue of PHP764.94 million (US$12.37 million) in Q2 2026, an increase from PHP632.79 million (US$10.23 million) in the same period last year.

The company reported Q2 2026 operating income of PHP45.98 million (US$740,000) compared to a loss of PHP11.48 million (US$190,000) in Q2 2025. Net income during the period peaked at PHP42.56 million (US$690,000) compared to a loss of PHP18.04 million (US$290,000).

Operating income for the six months ended June 30, 2026, totalled PHP92.24 million (US$1.49 million) compared to PHP25.21 million (US$410,000) reported in H1 2025.

Net income in H1 2026 meanwhile reached PHP82.74 million (US$1.34 million), an increase from PHP17.42 million (US$280,000) in the same period last year.

H1 2026 revenues reached PHP1.38 billion (US$22 million), an increase from PHP1.29 billion (US$21 million) in H1 2025. The company's total assets stood at PHP7.06 billion (US$110 million) in H1 2026, a slight decrease from PHP7.24 billion (US$120 million) in the same period last year.
