Svitzer has been awarded a five-year extension of its marine service contract with US-based liquid terminal and pipeline operator NuStar Energy.
The extension will come into effect on August 1, 2020.
Since 2010, Svitzer has been working in support of Nustar's Point Tupper Oil Storage facility in Nova Scotia, Canada, with three tugs on time charter. The tugs will continue to perform berthing and unberthing for calling tankers and safety standby services at the terminal.
