Sea trials of two new mooring boats for Turkish operator Med Marine were recently completed at the facility of sister company Ereğli Shipyard.
One of the vessels is a 13.9-metre boat with a width of 5.5 metres, a design draught of 1.85 metres, and two Volvo D9 MH main engines with a combined output of 633 kW.
The other vessel is an 11-metre boat with a width of 3.83 metres, a design draught of 1.4 metres, and two Volvo D7C TA main engines with a combined output of 197 kW.
Seven more 11-metre mooring boats are under construction at Ereğli.
