Damen wins HST workboat order

Damen Shipyards Group has been awarded a contract to supply a new multi-purpose workboat to Welsh operator High Speed Transfers (HST).

The vessel, which will be named HST Hazel, will have a length of 23 metres, Volvo Penta engines, a five-tonne pull winch, and a heavy duty crane with a lifting capacity of 25 tonnes.

The workboat will be used for coastal towing, buoy maintenance, and windfarm support duties. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2021.
