Eastern Shipbuilding Group (ESG) has delivered a reverse tractor tug to Bisso Offshore.
'Archie T. Higgins' went right to work, escorting its first ship northbound to New Orleans. Designed by Jensen Maritime, the vessel is the fourth reverse tractor tug delivered to Bisso Offshore since 2007.
With a length of 29 metres and a beam of 10 metres, the vessel is run by twin Caterpillar 3516C engines, that produce a combined output of 3,177kW at 1,600rpm.
