GEAR | Turkish shipbuilding industry to be highlighted at 17th Expomaritt Exposhipping conference

The 17th International Maritime Exhibition – Expomaritt Exposhipping Istanbul, organised on behalf of the Chamber of Shipping-Turkiye, will be held between October 11 and 14, 2023, in Istanbul.

Recognised as Turkiye’s premium shipbuilding and subsidiary industry exhibition, Expomaritt Exposhipping Istanbul is a global event gathering thousands of people from over seventy countries. The event is being organised by Informa Markets bi-annually on behalf of the Chamber of Shipping-Turkiye.

Highlights of the upcoming exhibition include the Turkish shipbuilding industry, which has an annual construction capacity of 4.65 million tonnes. In addition, Turkiye has become one of the few countries to build its own military ships and is among the top three countries in yacht building.

There will be over 700 exhibiting brands from over 35 countries and 9,000 sector professionals from 65 countries attending the exhibition.
