Myklebust to supply fourth wellboat to Sølvtrans

Myklebust Shipyard has been awarded a contract for the construction of a new wellboat for Norwegian fish farm company Sølvtrans.

The Kongsberg-designed newbuilding will have a 4,000-cubic-metre capacity. The hull will be completed at Hat-San Shipyard in Turkey while Myklebust will carry out the remainder of the construction.

Delivery will be in October 2021. It will be the fourth wellboat to join the Sølvtrans fleet.
