Larsen and Toubro launches seventh Vikram-class OPV for Indian Coast Guard

Larsen and Toubro has launched a new offshore patrol vessel (OPV) slated for the Indian Coast Guard.

The future ICGS Vigraha will be the final one of seven Vikram-class OPVs to be built for the Indian Coast Guard. Once completed, it will have a length of 97 metres, a beam of 15 metres, a draught of 3.6 metres, and a displacement of 2,140 tonnes.

Armament will include a 30-millimetre naval gun and two 12.7-millimetre machine guns.
