From Baird Maritime:
Another in the excellent "The Principles of Naval Architecture Series" published by America's prolific Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, this is a good and up-to-date one.
Hull geometric modelling using desktop computers is a comparatively recent development of the manual art of fairing of vessel lines. The author was one of the true and more influential pioneers of this development.
He was also a very experienced long distance sailor of very small boats as well as the designer of somewhat larger ones particularly fine-lined yachts. He knows his stuff.
This little book provides a very clear description of this important facet of modern naval architecture.
