From the same author/publishers as the brilliant "Ship Knowledge" reviewed here previously, this book is of similarly high quality, readability and usefulness.
Basically, it comprises a description of the Convention on International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, a.k.a. the "Colregs". That, however, is a very inadequate description of the book.
In his own particular style the author makes this vital but very dry subject both interesting and inspiring. The book and accompanying CD Rom are the future of nautical text books.
User friendly and useful.
