Shanghai Beihai orders Suezmax shuttle tankers from CSIC

Shanghai Beihai Shipping has placed an order for a new Suezmax shuttle tanker with a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC).

The vessel will have a deadweight of 155,000 tonnes and will be used to support CNOOC Group's operations in Brazil.

The contract also includes an option for one additional vessel from the same series.
