Korea's Sungdong Shipbuilding has won a shipbuilding contract for a pair of shuttle tankers, with an additional option for a third vessel.
Valued at approximately US$200 million, the vessels will have deadweight tonnages of 157,000DWT. They will be delivered to a Greek shipowner.
According to Asiasis, the vessels will also come equipped with advanced positioning systems for loading operations at offshore oil and gas sites.
