Terminal Isonzo 2, the new cruise facility of the Passenger Port of Venice, opened on July 12. Overlooking the Venice Lagoon, the terminal has been designed to handle up to 600,000 passengers per year.

Built in 18 months with an overall investment of €12 million, the terminal is divided into two parts: an arrivals area measuring 7,485 square metres and a departures area measuring 7,130 square metres. A panoramic terrace on the first floor measuring 2,150 square metres. The embarkation of passengers is conducted via a mobile boarding bridge, separating passenger flows from baggage-handling and ship provisions.
