The new container terminal at the Khalifa Bin Salman Port in Bahrain, has received its first containership, the 'APL Dalian'.
The new Bahrain Gateway container terminal, operated by APM Terminals, opened on April 1. The old terminal will cease operations on May 1.
The new terminal has a 1,800-metre berth and a draught alongside of 15 metres.
