

China: The Port of Dalian handled more than 300 million tonnes in 2010, ranking it the eighth largest port in the world, according to a Xinhua news report.
The port serves 80 international shipping lines. Seventy percent of the foreign trade cargo, and over 90 percent of containers in the China northeast region are moved through the port.
The port also recorded a growth of two percent, faster than the average for all ports in China.
