“Pirate hunting” cruise launched in Russia

A Russian luxury cruise company has launched a pirate hunting cruise service on armed private yachts off the pirate-infested waters of Somalia, Annanova has reported.

For US$5,800 a day, adventure-lovers can patrol dangerous waters in the hope of being attacked by pirates. If attacked, they are allowed to retaliate with weapons such as grenade launchers.

For an extra US$8, passengers an arm themselves with an AK-47.
