NYK, Mitsubishi take delivery of LNG carrier

Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries delivered a new LNG carrier to Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and Mitsubishi Corporation on Tuesday, November 3.

Named Diamond Gas Metropolis, the vessel will be managed by NYK and will be operated under a long-term charter with Mitsubishi subsidiary Diamond Gas International.

The newbuild has an LOA of 297 metres, a beam of 46.4 metres, and a total cargo tank capacity of 174,000 cubic metres.
