Brazilian natural resource company Vale has signed identical contracts for the shipping of iron ore by China's COSCO Shipping and China Merchants.
Both companies will transport about 16 tonnes of iron ore for Vale per year as of the first half of 2018.
Vale's Brazil-concentrated mines are amongst the largest producers of iron ore in the world.
The contracts are both due to continue for 27 years.
