Taiwanese shipbulder, the CSBC Corporation, has signed an agreement with Chinese Maritime Transport for the builder of two bulkers.
The US$129 million contracts are for two Capesize bulkers, scheduled for delivery from the first quarter of 2012.
The final contracts will be signed by the end of next month.
Chinese Maritime Transport currently has a fleet of six vessels but aims to increase its fleet to ten 200,000-tonne bulkers by 2013.
