Star Bulk Carriers has announced that it has taken delivery of MV 'Star Fighter', a 61,462DWT Ultramax bulk carrier built in Japan by Imabari Shipbuilding Group.
Formerly the 'Supra Challenger II', the vessel has been employed on a short-term time charter for a period of minimum four months and a maximum of six months at a gross hire rate of US$13,400 per day.
The MV 'Star Fighter' is the second of the two modern Ultramax bulk carriers delivered to Star Bulk Carriers.
