The AD Ports Group, through its Safeen Feeders shipping business, has completed the acquisition of two Supramax dry bulk vessels originally built in 2010.
The acquired vessels are Aleena-1 and Al Saad (pictured). The latter vessel has an LOA of 200 metres, a draught of 12.5 metres, a deadweight of 57,124 tonnes, and four 30-tonne cranes.
Since being acquired, these ships have been deployed as part of a collaboration between Safeen Feeders and Saif Powertec of Bangladesh. The collaboration covers the facilitation of trade and cargo services.
