Ancora Shipping, a subsidiy of Ancora Indonesia Resources, is looking to purchase five new bulk carriers according to reports from Asiasis Daily News.

At current newbuild prices the ships will cost around US$13 million, although good prices can be achieved by owners in the current troubled market.

Parent company Ancora Indonesia is understood to be in arrangements to buy a coal mine producing up to 300,000 tonnes per month.
