Hong Kong: The Marine Department and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association last Thursday (March 12) jointly hosted an awards ceremony to celebrate the Hong Kong Shipping Register's (HKSR) crossing of the 40 million GT mark.
HKSR crossed the 40 million GT mark on January 15 when On Hong Shipping registered the 150,971GT ore carrier 'New Ansteel'.
