
India's Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has launched two new bulk cargo vessels ordered by local company JSW Shipping and Logistics.
The vessels are the first two in a series of four. Each will have a length of 122 metres, a deadweight of 8,000 tonnes, a speed of 10 knots, and space for 16 crewmembers.
The vessels be used to transport coal, iron ore, dolomite, and limestone on both coastal and inland routes.
