Dry bulk owner Diana Shipping reported a net income attributable to common stockholders of $3.1 million for the second quarter of 2025, a significant turnaround from a net loss of $4.2 million in the same period of 2024. The company has also declared a cash dividend of $0.01 per share.

Time charter revenues for the quarter were $54.7 million, a slight decrease from $56.0 million in the same quarter of 2024. The company stated this was due to decreased ownership days during the period, though it was partly offset by increased average charter rates.

For the first six months of 2025, the company reported a net income attributable to common stockholders of $4.7 million, compared to a net loss of $3.6 million for the first half of 2024. Time charter revenues for the first half were $109.6 million, down from $113.6 million in the same period last year. The dividend will be payable on September 11, 2025, to all shareholders of record as of August 21, 2025.
