

COSCO Corporation has announced the completion of a number of vessel deliveries last week.
On October 24, COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard delivered the windmill turbine installation vessel 'MPI Discovery' to its European buyer. 'MPI Discovery' is designed to transport, lift and install wind turbines and their foundations. Key features on the vessel include a 1,000-tonne capacity main crane, with the ability to jack with 6,000 tonnes of cargo on board. The wind turbine vessel measures 138.5 metres in length overall, 40.8 metres in breadth and 10.0 metres in depth.
A day later on October 25, COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard signed delivery documents with an Asian buyer for the 57,000DWT bulk carrier 'STX Spirit'. The bulk carrier measures 189.99 metres in length overall, 32.26 metres in breadth and 18 metres in depth.
Finally, COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard on October 26 delivered the 57,000DWT bulk carrier 'Georgianna Bo' to its European buyer. The bulk carrier measures 189.99 metres in length overall, 32.26 metres in breadth and 18 metres in depth.
