China’s trade value up ten percent month-to-month

Chinese trade fell in April for the sixth straight month year-on-year, but grew 10.4 percent on the March figure, reports Xinhua.

The General Administration of Customs said April exports declined 22.6 percent year-on-year to US$91.94 billion, while April imports shrank 23 percent to US$78.8 billion.

China's exports in the first four months of the year totaled US$337.42 billion, down 20.5 percent from last year. Four-month imports totaled US$261.99 billion, down 28.7 percent from last year.

China's trade surplus in the first four months of this year totaled US$75.43 billion.
