Bramear Shipping Services has appointed Alastair Farley as a non-executive director starting yesterday.
Farley, a solicitor, was formerly a non-executive director at Close Brothers Group and is a director or advisor to a number of shipping, construction and investment companies.
"We are delighted that Alastair is joining the board," said Sir Graham Hearne, Chairman of Braemar. "His long experience of the shipping industry will be invaluable to the company."
