Guangzhou Blue Dolphin Cruises’ newest electric tour boat hits the water

China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding has floated out a new all-electric tour boat ordered by local company Guangzhou Blue Dolphin Cruises.
The vessel, which will sail under the name Lan Haitun 2020 (“Blue Dolphin 2020”), will be operated in the waters of the Pearl River as well as the Dawan District between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau.
Once completed, Lan Haitun 2020 will have an LOA of 38.8 metres, a beam of 12 metres, capacity for 280 passengers, and two electric motors that will deliver a speed of nine knots.
