Russia’s BFC acquires bunkering ship to serve Baltic, North Sea customers

Russian operator Baltic Fuel Company (BFC) has acquired a bunkering and supply tanker that will be used to serve customers operating in the Baltic and North Seas.

The 2004-built Baltic Eagle will be renamed Veles and reflagged to Russia prior to commencing operational sailings under BFC. It will remain classed by Bureau Veritas.

The vessel has a length of 119.1 metres, a beam of 16.9 metres, and 13 cargo tanks.
