New VLCC delivered to Indonesia’s Pertamina

Japan Marine United (JMU) has handed over a new very large crude carrier (VLCC) to Indonesian state-owned shipping company Pertamina International Shipping.

The ABS-classed Pertamina Pride has an LOA of 330 metres, a beam of 60 metres, a draught of 21.58 metres, and a deadweight of 301,781 tonnes. Power is provided by one MAN B&W 7G80ME-C9.5 diesel engine.

The newbuild will sail under the the Panamanian flag.
