KNOT, Eni ink charters for shuttle tanker pair

Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT) and Eni subsidiary Eni Trading and Shipping have entered into a long-term time charter agreement for two LNG-fuelled shuttle tankers.

The vessels will be built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) under a contract awarded earlier this month.

After delivery in 2022, the newbuildings will be used for shuttling crude oil produced in the waters of the North Sea and the Barents Sea.
