JMU delivers MR product tanker Basset

Japan Marine United (JMU) has handed over a newbuild 49,875DWT MR product/chemical tanker to an unnamed customer.

Named Basset, the vessel has an LOA of 182.5 metres, a beam of 32.2 metres, a depth of 19.05 metres, and a crew of 25.

One MAN B&W 6S50ME-B9.5 diesel engine delivers a cruising speed of 15 knots.
