Hyundai Heavy Industries wins ₩150 billion order for two VLCCs

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has won a ₩150 billion (US$122.5 million) order for two very large crude carriers (VLCCs) from unnamed European owners.

The vessels will each have a length of 274 metres, a beam of 48 metres, and a deadweight of 158,000 tonnes.

The contract also includes options for two additional vessels from the same series.
