Hudong Zhonghua lays keel of 38,000DWT chemical tanker for Odfjell
Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding recently laid the keel of a new 38,000DWT chemical tanker ordered by Odfjell.
The vessel will have a length of 182.88 metres, a beam of 32.2 metres, a depth of 17.1 metres, and 40 duplex stainless steel cargo tanks for transporting various types of chemicals and refined oil.
Hudong Zhonghua is also currently building two 49,000DWT chemical tankers in a series for Odfjell. Two other vessels from the same series, Bow Orion and Bow Olympus, were delivered to Odfjell in July.
