Hafnia completes acquisition of Danish shipowner Chemical Tankers

Hafnia has completed the acquisition of all outstanding shares of Danish shipowner Chemical Tankers (CTI).

In exchange for all outstanding shares in CTI, CTI’s shareholders will receive shares in Hafnia representing 21.5 per cent of the outstanding shares in the combined entity.

The acquisition also covers CTI’s fleet of 32 chemical tankers in the range of 25,000 to 49,000 DWT. The newly acquired chemical fleet will enter the global trade alongside Hafnia’s own product tanker fleet.

Hafnia’s total commercially managed fleet now consists of 242 vessels.
