TMS Cardiff Gas places order for LNG carriers
Greece-based TMS Cardiff Gas has ordered a 174,000-cubic-metre LNG carrier with XDF propulsion at South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
The construction contract comes with an option for a second vessel.
TMS Cardiff Gas founder Christos Economou said the vessel was scheduled for delivery in 2020, when she will enter a seven-year time charter contract with Total Gas and Power Chartering.
