Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has completed sea trials of Minerva Psara, the first in a series of two LNG carriers being built for Greek shipowner Minerva Marine.

The vessel has capacity for 173,400 cubic metres of LNG and is powered by two-stroke engines.

Shortly after its delivery in January 2021, Minerva Psara will commence serving a long-term charter with an unnamed counterparty.
