JERA and NYK joint venture takes delivery of Kawasaki-built LNG carrier

Kawasaki Heavy Industries delivered a new 82,287DWT LNG transport vessel on Friday, February 15.

Trans Pacific Shipping 7, a joint venture between JERA and NYK Line, will operate the vessel, which has been named Shinshu Maru.

The vessel has an LOA of 299.9 metres, a moulded width of 48.9 metres, a draught of 11.8 metres, a cargo tank capacity of 177,277 cubic metres, and a crew of 38.
