Greek shipowner Latsco has taken delivery of a new LNG carrier built by South Korea’s Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.

Hellas Athina is the second LNG carrier to be built by Hyundai for Latsco. The first is Hellas Diana, which was delivered in April this year.

Hellas Athina and Hellas Diana each have a length of 297 metres, a beam of 46 metres, a dual-fuel engine, and a total cargo capacity of 173,400 cubic metres. Both ships are sailing under charter with Singapore-based Trafigura.
