Global Energy Ventures unveils design of new compressed hydrogen-carrying ship

Global Energy Ventures (GEV) has unveiled the first images of a new design of tanker optimised for the transport of compressed hydrogen.

The vessel will have a total cargo capacity of 2,000 tonnes of compressed hydrogen.

GEV says the ship and its cargo system are in the patent process. Design work is being carried out in accordance with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules and guidelines.
