GasLog welcomes third of four South Korean-built LNG carriers

NAVAL ARCHITECTURE WEEK

Greek shipowner GasLog has taken delivery of the third vessel in a series of four LNG carriers built for the company by South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries.

The 180,000-cubic-metre GasLog Wellington will be operated on long-term charter to US-based Cheniere Energy Partners.

The newbuild is equipped with a boil-off gas management system to help mitigate the risk of cargo loss while in transit.
