France LNG Shipping takes delivery of gas carrier Elisa Larus

France LNG Shipping, a joint venture between Geogas and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK), has taken delivery of a new gas carrier from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries.

The BV-classed vessel has been named Elisa Larus. It has an LOA of 297.23 metres, a beam of 46.4 metres, a cargo tank capacity of 174,000 cubic metres, and a WinGD dual fuel engine.

Elisa Larus will be operated under a long-term charter with France’s EDF LNG Shipping.
