Singapore-based Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS) has confirmed its plans to order a new gas carrier to be built by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).

The ship will be among the first in the world to be fitted with MAN Energy Solutions’ new G60 two-stroke, dual-fuel ammonia engine.

The vessel will be EPS’ first ocean-going ammonia duel-fuel gas carrier. It will sail under the Singaporean flag and will be classed by ABS.
