Netherlands-based C-Job Naval Architects has designed a new class of liquid hydrogen (LH2) tanker.

The tanker concept, developed in partnership with LH2 Europe, will transport green hydrogen developed through the use of renewable energy in Scotland. The hydrogen will then be transported to terminals in Germany.

The LH2 tanker will measure 141 metres long and will have a total cargo capacity of 37,500 cubic metres. Power for the ship will be provided by onboard hydrogen fuel cells.
