Greek shipowner Capital Gas Ship Management Corporation took delivery of a new LNG carrier from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).

Aristidis I has a total cargo capacity of 174,000 cubic metres and is equipped with an air lubrication system intended to reduce fuel consumption without sacrificing sailing speed.

The vessel has been chartered to BP Shipping for a period up to 12 years. It is the second in a series of seven ships to be delivered by HHI between 2020 and 2023.
