BW LPG sells gas carrier Berge Summit
Singapore-based BW LPG has concluded the sale and delivery of the gas carrier Berge Summit to an unnamed buyer for continued trading.
Berge Summit was built in 1990 with a carrying capacity of 78,489 cubic metres.
The vessel, which was sold for approximately US$9 million, had been used by BW LPG as a floating storage unit for a gas-to-power project over the last five years.
