Ferus Smit bags second 4,250DWT product tanker order from Thun
Dutch shipbuilder Ferus Smit has been awarded a contract for the construction of a second 4,250DWT product tanker for local owner Thun Tankers.
The vessel will be built in accordance with the “not always afloat but safely aground” (NAABSA) design.
The tanker will be delivered in May 2022. As with its previously ordered sister ship, it will sail with UK-based Geos Group under a long-term charter agreement.
