Donsötank and Wuhu Shipyard sign contract for LNG-powered tanker pair
Sweden’s Donsötank has signed a contract with Wuhu Shipyard in China for two 22,000DWT product and chemical tankers.
The ice class 1A, LNG-powered vessels will be designed by FKAB.
Each tanker will have an LOA of 167.7 metres, a width of 26.5 metres, a draught of 9.2 metres, and a cargo tank capacity of 28,000 cubic metres. Main and auxiliary engines for both vessels will be provided by Wärtsilä.
