Crowley integrates Jensen Maritime into new engineering services group

Crowley Maritime Corporation has fully integrated Seattle-based naval architecture firm Jensen Maritime Consultants into the Crowley Engineering Services group.

Crowley said the integration of Jensen Maritime will provide customers with a singular source for design expertise and vessel construction, operations, and management. This covers a broad range of vessels including tugs, tankers, articulated tug and barge (ATB) units, and other commercial and government vessels.

The company added that the Jensen name will be retained through vessel designs that will continue to be offered under Crowley Engineering. Legacy designs and new designs will be marketed as Crowley while indicating “design powered by Jensen.”
